The IAPK works on a non-profit basis and receives support from an Association of Sponsors comprised of individuals and companies active in the sector. The goal of the Association of Sponsors is to foster research and teaching in the realms of powder metallurgy, ceramics and ceramic joining technology. This support includes everything from initial proposals and suggestions for research projects and contracts as well as the concrete carrying-out of research and development work. Furthermore, the Association of Sponsors contributes to the education of students at RWTH Aachen University and promotes their ongoing training wherever possible. And, finally, the association also fosters the publication of research findings, thereby making them available to the general public in the most appropriate form possible.
In short, the IAPK Association of Sponsors is the body that makes our research possible in the first place! And when individuals and companies become members, they are automatically invited to actively shape our work.
